She also enjoyed participating in bridge parties, reading and knitting - crafting many treasured items for her family.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edmund Sr., their children Anne Louise James and her husband Tom, and their children Christina, Matthew (Kylie) and Christopher James; Edmund Jr.’s wife and their children Amanda (John) Bell, Melinda and Meagan DelMonaco; Mary Beth Deane and her husband Bob and their children Doctor Courtenay (Doctor Andrew Loveitt) and Hillary Deane; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, sister Mary Biddescombe; a very special sister-in-law Irva Maher, and dear friend Eleanor Clark.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Annie, brothers James, John, and Gerald Maher, and son, Edmund Jr.
