Obituary for Margaret Ann Pottle

Perry – Margaret “Meg” Ann Pottle, 75, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. Meg was born in Calais on May 10, 1939, daughter of the late Jack and Chrissy (Robinson) Fullerton. She attended school in Perry and Eastport, and on July 20, 1956, married Shirl Pottle in Eastport. Meg worked as a store manager for D.W. Small Gas Station in Eastport, which was most recently known as the Eastport Irving. She was a member of Perry Bible Fellowship and enjoyed working in her flower garden, painting, and singing.

In addition to her parents, Meg was predeceased by a brother Timothy Fullerton. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Shirl Pottle; her son Wesley Pottle and his wife Susan of Kingston, Ontario; two grandchildren, Wesley and Faith Pottle; three great-grandchildren; a sister Janet Rosenburger and husband Edward of Danbury, CT; three brothers, Bill, John, and Theodore Fullerton; sister-in-law Marvelle Pottle of Calais; brother-in-law Carroll Pottle of CT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Meg’s life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at Perry Bible Fellowship, Route 1, Perry. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
