Margaret Jean Smith (Cummings)

Baileyville, ME & Greenville, SC – Margaret J. (Cummings) Smith, 78, answered the call to glory by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 24, 2016, to join her one true love of 62 years, Rev. Bobby L. Smith Sr., son Timothy, mother Leona Kiem, father Joseph Cummings, one sister and one brother.

Formally of Greenville, SC, where she was a member of the Washington Ave. Church of God, she moved to Baileyville, ME to live with her daughter Tonya Scott. Surviving are her children, two daughters, Wanda Burlingame and husband Wayne of Layton, UT, and Tonya Scott and husband Durward (USAF Retired) of Baileyville, ME; two sons, SMSgt. Bobby L. Smith Jr. (USAF Retired) and his daughter Margaret Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, and SSgt George C. Smith (USMC Retired) and wife Miharu of Pensacola, FL; ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Rev. Ken McDonald and Rev. Earl Manley will preside over a burial service at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd., Piedmont, SC, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016.
