Marion Ward

Eastport - Marion Eleanor Ward, 85, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2007 in a Calais hospital surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born on April 25, 1922 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of Edmond Nelson and Etta Jane (Taylor) Outhouse. She was the first wife of the late Keith Bennett Selwood Sr and the mother of Keith Bennett Selwood Jr. and Elaine Marion (Selwood) Roper. She is the widow of the late Richard Gray Ward of Massachusetts. Marion took pride in her family and her many years of nursing and her various other employment experiences. She leaves behind her loving family of son and daughter, Keith Jr. and Elaine; granddaughter, Rhonda Kristen (Jones) Snider; and great-granddaughters, Kristen Rose Snider and Kayla Rochelle Snider; and special pet, Sasha. At the request of the family there will be no visiting hours and there will be a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Mays Funeral Home – Flagg Chapel, Eastport.
