Marion Ruth Withrow

Marion (Marsh) Withrow, 86, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2013 with her children by her side at The Terrace Nursing Home in Fleming Island, Florida.
She was born in Dennysville (Plantation 14), Maine on August 12, 1927, the daughter of the late Everett and Florence (Preston) Burke. She lived most of her life in Eastport and, following retirement, spent the winter months in Fleming Island, Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lester Marsh; four brothers; Millard, Malcolm, Lewis and James Burke, and four sisters; Florence Gachetti, Grace Maston, Jessie Monroe, and Julia Fenderson.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children; son Carl, daughter Linda Hurt and husband Gary, daughter Gwen Gray and husband Reid, and two “adopted” daughters, Mary Pottle and Mary Ann Jarvis; 5 grandchildren, Carl Marsh, Scott Marsh, Sarah Donahe, Michael Hurt and Angela Love; and 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Nikki, Bradley, Cameron, & Cassidy Marsh, Donnie and Lindsey LaViolet, Mika Donahe, Lilly and Brendan Hurt and several nieces and nephews. She will be forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held November 30th at Mays Funeral Home, Flagg Chapel in Eastport, 2:00 pm.
