Mark D. Olsson

Mark D. Olsson, 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at his home, on Saturday, December 2, 2023.  He was born on October 4, 1965, in Calais to Robert and Evelyn (Wallace) Olsson.

Mark was a hard worker who could operate any piece of equipment but primarily worked in construction.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and harvesting wood.  His greatest joy came from time spent with his family, especially his 3 grandchildren who he adored.  He will be remembered for his big heart and personality.

Mark was predeceased by his father Robert; his sister Stephanie Elin; and his brother Dale.  Surviving are his loving and devoted mother, Evelyn Olsson of Baring Plt; brother Glenn Olsson and wife Alice Ann of Arkansas; daughters Stephanie Thompson and husband Steve of Corinna, and Tiffany Haas and husband Tyler of Bucksport; the mother of his daughters, Angela Olsson of Glenburn; his three grandchildren, Lucas, Hunter, and Claire Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
