Our loving son, uncle, brother, friend, family to many, Mark Anthony Stevens II, unexpectedly passed away on June 9th, 2024. In Bangor, Maine, on January 28th, 1987, Mark Anthony Stevens I and Jackie Stevens blessed us with who we will all remember, Little Mark.
Little Mark is like Christmas day, a holiday he so dearly loved. A time that brings us joy, happiness, and peace; filled with laughter, smiles, and presents under a bright Christmas tree. Little Mark brought this same joy into each and every one of our lives. Whether it was lighting up a room with his smile or making the dullest moments illuminate with cheer by being the jokester he was. Just like the Christmas carols he enjoyed so much, he was festive, worth celebrating, memorable and wonderful, connecting us all. He was like hugging a big teddy bear you were just gifted with, so kind, gentle, and caring. In fact, Little Mark owned and cared for a cockatiel bird, Peety.
He loved to fish and to go camping yet he also had a love for watching WWE wrestling, never missing a night of Monday Night Raw and WrestleMania, that's true dedication and passion attributed to his character.
Little Mark enjoyed playing a game of pool at local billiards with friends and family and playing video games. Aside from Christmas music, he loved listening to all types of music: from Jimi Hendrix, Rock, and 60s throwbacks. Little Mark had all the qualities of a great song you want to sing along too; a beautiful symphony coming together into one person. He marched to his own drum, reminding us every day to enjoy the beautiful life that surrounds us.
Family was so important to Little Mark, it cannot be stressed enough how kindhearted, protective, and compassionate he was. Everything he loved was rooted in love and family values. He was and will forever be the star, that angel on top of all our Christmas trees, shining brightly over all of us.
Little Mark was predeceased by his Paternal grandparents Eugene L. Stevens Sr. and Freda (Ranco) Stevens along with his Maternal grandparents William (Bill) Lyle and Teresa May Carlysle. Brother, Lance Moholland and sister Eva May Meader. Aunt Dale Borrows, his Uncles Howard and Timothy Stevens and best friend Leon Robinson.
He is survived by parents Mark Anthony Stevens I and Jackie Stevens, brothers and sisters: Beth and Tom Meader, Mariah Thurlow, Jillian Mendoza and brother-in-law James Mendoza. Nephews and nieces, Carl and Darren Ripley, Gabriella and Luis Mendoza, Stephen and Montana, Ahmiah and Sophia Thurlow. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, in laws, and friends (where there are so many to name): including Aunts Edith Turner and Sharon Wiskow, sister-in-law Lori Levasseur, close friend and “his protector” Skye Stevens.
