Mary Alice Jones

Pembroke – Mary Alice Jones, 85, passed away with her children by her side Friday, September 13, 2013 at Calais Regional Hospital. Mary was born in Eastport on May 26, 1928, daughter of the late Alexander and Beatrice (Owen) Finch. After growing up in Eastport, she married Donald Jones of Pembroke, where she moved and raised her family. Mary enjoyed quilting, gardening, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Donald; a son David; grandson CJ Jones; two sisters, Barbara Jollotta and Jean Bishop; and a brother John Finch. Surviving are seven children, Sandra Denbow and husband Ralph of Trescott, Donna Hersey and husband Richard of Pembroke, Donald Jones and wife Martha of Rusk, TX, William Jones and wife Brenda of Charlotte, Charles Jones and wife Kathy of Pembroke, Brian Jones and wife Bonita of Pembroke, and Linda Paprocki of Pembroke; 13 grandchildren, Angela, George, Jennifer, Carol, Blaine, Tammy, Michael, Denise, Justin, Rachel, Brian II, Kristopher, and Megan; many great-grandchildren; her twin sister Margaret Martin of NH; and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held for the family 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.maysfuneralhome.com
