Matthew Francis Sullivan

Alexander and Bolton, MA – Matthew Francis Sullivan, 63, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Washington Place in Calais with his special friends Phillip and Paula by his side. Matthew was born in Clinton, MA on August 14, 1952, son of the late Edward and Mary (Grady) Sullivan. After graduating from Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton he worked with in the family well drilling business. Later he relocated to Maine and worked for Lawrence Lord & Sons well drilling until his illness. Matthew loved anything racing and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Sullivan; and a sister Susan Sontag. Surviving are his brother Michael Sullivan of Bolton, MA; two sisters, Winifred Lucht and husband Kenneth of Marathon, FL, and Margaret Tindal of Berlin, MA; many nieces and nephews; special friends and care-givers, Paula Lord Seavey of Crawford, and Phillip McArthur of Alexander; and dear friends Bruce Baker, Sue Mahar, Susan Wallace and his second family, Lawrence Lord and his children Barbara, Bonnie, Terry and Larry

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
