Melva Louise Long

Alexander – Melva Louise Long, 67, died in Bangor on August 11, 2016 after a courageous fight against cancer. Melva was born on August 1, 1949, the second daughter of Philip and Edna (Stanhope) Donovan.

She is survived by a son, Lee Roderick; granddaughter Mallory Roderick; grandson Alexander Roderick; niece Jessica Melhiser; great niece Ashley Melhiser and her son, Hudson Green and great nephew Ryan Melhiser.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Ross.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14th at Calais Cemetery, Calais.
