Milford L Moores

Trescott – Milford L. Moores, 82, went to be with the Lord January 27, 2014 at a Machias health care facility. He was born January 6, 1932, the son of the late George and Eva (Tinker) Moores. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lubec. Milford worked as a laborer all his life. He was predeceased by his loving wife Roberta (Knight) Moores. He is survived by one brother, Leonard his wife Elzada of Orono; four sisters, Kathleen and her husband Lauris, Myrtle and her husband Robbie, Maxine, all of Lubec, and Bertha of Bar Harbor; several nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law, Juanita Davis of East Machias and Christine Riggs of Whiting. Milford will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Trescott in the spring.
