Morris O'Tyson

Eastport – Morris O’Tyson, 83, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2012 with his loving wife by his side. Morris was born in Jacksonville, TX on June 15, 1929, son of the late Morris and Lola (Chadwick) O’Tyson. He retired as Vice President of Dixie Chemical Co. in Texas. Upon his retirement, Morris and his wife Karon visited Eastport for a summer and fell in love with the area. In 2008 they purchased a house on Third Street and called Eastport home. Surviving are his wife Karon (Isaac) O’Tyson; one sister Natalie Fox of San Antonio, TX; a niece Cindy Wassaff and her husband Mike of San Antonio, TX, and their daughters Sara and Samantha; and dear friends Gloria and Mark Hagens of Shiner, TX, and their children Nicki, Dylan, Dustin and Drew. In keeping with Morris’ wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
