Myrtle Dollie Nickerson

Calais – Myrtle Dollie Estabrooks (Nickerson), 97, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008 at Atlantic Rehab & Nursing Center. Myrtle was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada on February 28, 1910 to Jessie and John Hayes. She was predeceased by two sons, James and John Estabrooks. She is survived by daughters, Virginia Newman, Gertrude Meachum, Jessie Mathewson, Shirley Estabrooks and Connie Cox; sons, Ronald Estabrooks, Kenneth Estabrooks, Thomas Estabrooks and Dale Estabrooks; and over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on May 17, 2008 at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. The time of services will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in Dennysville Cemetery.
