Calais – Norma L. McLean, 73, died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at her home. Norma was born in St. Stephen, N.B. August 26, 1932, daughter of the late Edward and Lena (Bohanon) Feltmate. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #3 of Calais and enjoyed dancing and playing Bingo. Norma was predeceased by her husband, Frank D. McLean in 1996, and a brother, Philip Feltmate. Surviving are six children, Michael McLean and wife Joan of Calais, Carol Higgins and husband Steve of St. Stephen, N.B., Lorraine Annas and husband Steve of Baileyville, Daniel McLean and friend Sara of Calais, David McLean and wife Lori of Eastport, and Mary McLean and friend Jimmy of Calais; thirteen grandchildren, Michael, Heather, DJ, Allisa, Bradley and Shawn McLean, Darren, Arron, and Jamie Higgins, Nathaniel and Crystal Annas, Sheena Ramsdell, and Jessie Sutherland; a great-grandson Jacob Ramsdell; a sister-in-law Linda Feltmate of St. Stephen, N.B.; a niece Cindy Trafton and her son Nicholas of St. Stephen, N.B.; and special friends, James Murphy, Jeannie Hayward, and Claudia McLean. Friends may call Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery.
