Obituary for Norman J. Stevens

Pleasant Point – Norman J. Stevens, 50, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2018 in Bangor. Norman was born in Calais on May 19, 1967 to George and Pauline (LaCoote) Stevens Jr. He grew up and attended school at Indian Township and developed a deep love of the outdoors. His entire life he cherished any time spent at the beach. Norm and his life partner, Tim, owned a business together making sweetgrass scented candles.
In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his sister, Maryellen Stevens and his brother, Augustine Stevens Sr.

He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Tim Morang; fourteen siblings, Betty LePage, Kevin Stevens and his wife Eleanor, Harry Stevens, Charles Stevens, Beverly Stevens and her husband Dennis Brown, Seraphine Bassett, Benjamin Stevens, Regina Stevens, Garry Stevens and his wife Donna, Richard Stevens, Gerald Stevens, Judy Stevens, Millie Sockabasin and her husband Henry and Ashley Stevens; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his little dog, Benjamin that Norm always had on his lap.

Visitation will be held beginning 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 102 Indian Road, Pleasant Point, until 12 noon Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
