Princeton – Oliver Milton Lockhart, 81, passed away in Princeton on April 14, 2017. Oliver was born on March 16, 1936 in Stewarton, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Clarence M. and Clemence (Desruisseause) Lockhart.
After high school Oliver enlisted in the Canadian Military and later, after his service, he moved to Princeton and began working as a pipefitter and welder for Georgia Pacific. He owned and operated Lockhart & Sons Plumbing, serving the Princeton area where he also owned apartment buildings.
In addition to his parents, Oliver was predeceased by his son Clarence Lockhart and his grandson Kyle.
Surviving are his three children, Oliver K. Lockhart Sr. and his companion Melissa Grant of Princeton, Darlene Colyer and her husband Todd of Penrose, CO and Sharon Mosley and her husband Thomas of Windham; eleven grandchildren, Carol, Becky, Olivia, Jacob, Jahvon, Oliver Jr., Franklin, Anthony, Meghan, Andrew and Sarah and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Alexander Cemetery.
