Obituary for Patrick Norman Donahue

Alexander – Patrick Norman Donahue, 46, passed away, March 22, 2013. On that day, we lost a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was born December 11, 1966, in Presque Isle, the son of Charles “Bernie” & Norma (Frost) Donahue. He married Anne Barnard Donahue on July 5, 1997; they lived together in Alexander, Maine.

Patrick graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1984 and he continued his education at Northern Maine Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Management. For the last 23 years he has worked for Frito-Lay as a Route Specialist.

Patrick truly loved the outdoors, his family owned camp on Pleasant Lake and treasured time spent with great family and friends. He spent his time fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, taking boat rides around the lake and taking care of his family. He was also known for being a practical joker and loved to laugh. He touched all of us that were blessed to have him in our lives. He brought pure joy and laughter to all of those around him.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate Anne Barnard Donahue, his two children Riley and Lauren Donahue, his two step-daughters Katharine and Michelle Boomer, his brother Charles “Chick” Donahue and companion Ida Kinnear, his brother David Donahue and wife Marion, several nephews, nieces, cousins, and many many dear friends. Patrick was predeceased by his brother, Samuel Donahue; mother, Norma Donahue; and his father, Charles Donahue.
