Paul Douglas McKay

Paul Douglas McKay went home to Heaven on August 27, 2015. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 27, 1963 to parents Raymond and Nellie McKay.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Lisa McKay, daughter Stacia Kerr and son-in-law John Kerr, grandchildren Cody, Autumn and Anna Kerr, brother Mark McKay and sister-in-law Nancy McKay, sister Ramona McKay and brother-in-law James Lintel and brother Joel McKay. Doug was surrounded with loving family members Dan and Beth McKay, Zach McKay, Zee and Erin Al-Hammami, Rayan and Sana Al-Hammami, Marcus and Jaime McKay. He will also be deeply missed by special friend and brother Leland Grubb and wife Kristi Grubb. He leaves behind three special furry companions Bubba, Sissy and Bitty who loved him unconditionally.

Doug's life work was in land surveying where he enjoyed the outdoors and which gave him the amazing opportunity to travel all over the country.
He got to make a lot of wonderful memories while on many fishing excursions with his brother, Mark.

One of his true passions in life was music and playing his collection of guitars and sharing that love with his brother, Joel.
Doug's favorite times were spent making lifelong memories with his family and friends.

Doug's final resting place will be in Baileyville, Maine where he met and married the love of his life, Lisa. The committal will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12th at Woodland Cemetery.

In honor of Doug's memory, the family requests donations be made to his wife, Lisa McKay or to his favorite charity, Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue where he was an active volunteer.
