Obituary for Paul Keith O'Neil

Baileyville – Paul O’Neil, 48, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 23, 2016 in New Jersey. Paul was born in Calais to Wayne and Vicki O’Neil on May 17, 1967.

He is survived by his parents of Baileyville; sisters Becky O’Neil and her fiancé John Lowery of Clifton, and Vera and David Johnson of Calais. Also survived by his nephew Bailey Stillman and nieces Dylan Stillman and their father, Dan Stillman of Bar Harbor, and Jillian and Lainey Johnson of Calais. His nephew and nieces were the love of his life. Surviving also are aunts and uncles Jim and Linda Ross of Illinois, and Robert and Arla Larson of Florida. Surviving close friends are Glen Hansen, and Kelly and their boys Hunter and Cameron, and Pam Record.

He was known as “Unc” to Dylan, Bailey, Jillian and Lainey. He was predeceased by his sister Ivy; grandparents Hazen and Vera O’Neil, and Gordon and Jean Harris; and his uncle Melvin O’Neil. Paul graduated from WCCC with a degree in culinary arts and welding, making the Dean’s list while he was attending school. He traveled for various construction companies as a welder and fabricator.

A graveside service will be held in Calais Cemetery for family and close friends and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.maysfuneralhome.com
