Pauline C Fleming

Calais & Oregon – Pauline C. Fleming, 93, passed away Sept. 21, 2008 in Milwaukie, Oregon. Pauline was born in Calais on May 15, 1915, daughter of the late Nellie and Earl Hill Sr. She is survived by her son, Payson J. Fleming of Gladstone; brothers Earle Hill Jr. of Alexander and Harris Hill of Advocate Harbor, Nova Scotia; a sister Ruth White of St. Augustine, FL; 6 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Payson, died in 1990 in San Diego, CA, and her daughter Geraldine died in 2003 in San Diego, CA. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Calais Cemetery with Rev. James Plourde officiating. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Homes, Calais & Eastport.
