Rachael Anne Jamieson

Pembroke – Rachael Anne Jamieson, 20, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Down East Community Hospital in Machias. Rachael was born in Machias on April 29, 1997, daughter of Robert and Debbie (Myers) Jamieson.

Rachael enjoyed music and being read to. She had an infectious laugh and brought joy to anyone that knew her. Family and friends feel fortunate to have had Rachael be part of their lives as long as they have.

Rachael was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Earl Myers. Surviving are her parents, Robert and Debbie Jamieson of Pembroke; siblings Robert Jamieson Jr. and his wife Kristy and their son Logyn of Columbia, Brittney Jamieson of Bangor, and her twin sister Catherine Jamieson of Brewer; her grandparents, Harry and Bertie Jamieson of Edmunds, and Charlene Myers of Whiting; her “Nanny and Papa”, Romelda and Milan Jamieson of Pembroke; aunts and uncles, Larry and Dolores Myers and family of AZ, Andy and Donna Wygant and family of FL, Loyd and Yesenia Myers and family of Whiting, Rhonda and Michael Crowe of VA, Ronald and Sandi Jamieson of MS, and Rickey and Donna Jamieson of Dennysville; numerous cousins including special cousins Adam, Rickey and Brian; special camping friends, Brad and Sissy Rice and their family of Brewer; and her faithful canine companion Carl.

The family would like to also mention her caregivers over the years, Joyce, Missy, Shannon, Jutta, Mina, Debbie and Romelda; and the many OT, PT, Speech and other caregivers Donna, Julie, Betty, Chris, Jen, Carole and Rhonnie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Kevin J. Martin 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist, 39 Hersey Rd., Pembroke. Burial will follow in Dennysville Cemetery. Donations in Rachael’s memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Bangor, 654 State St., Bangor, ME 04401.
