Obituary for Raven Blackstone Dobbs

Calais – Raven Blackstone Scott Dobbs, 17, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the Calais Regional Hospital. Raven was born in Delano, CA on January 13, 1993. He was a faithful member of the Keys to Life Tabernacle Church in Calais. Raven enjoyed playing video games, fishing, attending yearly youth conventions with the church and hanging out with his friends. Surviving are his mother, Norma Lowell and her husband Gary; three sisters, Ivy Sample, Patsy Dobbs and Ina Lowell; his brother Gary Lowell; grandmother Velda Lowell, all of Calais; his extended family at church; and special friends, Tyler Hartford, Walter York, Anthony LaTarte, Katie Courier, and Charity LaTarte. Visiting hours will be held 10 – 12 Thursday, February 11, at the Keys to Life Tabernacle Church, which is held at the Calais United Methodist Church, 849 Main St., Calais. A celebration of Raven’s life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in the Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
