Rejean Joseph Plourde

Baileyville – Rejean Joseph Plourde, 67, passed away on May 2, 2015 with his family by his side at Calais Regional Hospital. Rejean was born on June 2, 1947 to Edward and Bernadette Plourde in Riviere, Bleue, Quebec where he spent his childhood, attended school and then married Michelle C. Duchaine on September 21, 1968. Together he and Michelle relocated to Baileyville where Rejean worked in the woods for Georgia Pacific and then eventually became a self-employed woodsman. He was also a communicant at St. James The Greater R.C. Church in Baileyville. Rejean leaves behind his wife of over 46 years, Michelle Plourde; his daughter, Nathalie Plourde of Windham; three grandchildren, Devon and Nicholas Ramsdell and Hunter Plourde; seven sisters; five brothers and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Rejean was predeceased by his son, Jimmy Plourde and several siblings. In keeping with Rejean’s wishes there will be no service.
