Renee Evonne Hamilton, aged 64, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family on Monday, October 7th, 2024, at her home in Princeton, following a courageous battle with a serious illness. She was born in Fayetteville, NC, on February 8th, 1960, Renee was the beloved daughter of Bruce Stanley Cochran and Gloria Joeline Cochran.
Throughout her professional journey, Renee showcased her remarkable talents across various roles, serving as a Graphics Artist, Technical Librarian, and Facility Security Officer for several esteemed Government contractors. In 2003, she took a bold step to follow her passion, establishing BIRETOWorks Custom Graphics, a venture that flourished under her creative vision and dedication.
Renee was predeceased by her beloved daughter Toni on May 20th, 2024. Renee leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by her devoted husband, Bill Hamilton; her treasured grandson, Dimitri Riley; her caring mother, Joey Cochran; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Nancy Cochran; and her sister-in-law, Bea Hamilton.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, partner, and friend, Renee's absence will be profoundly felt by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
