Princeton – Robert Francis Burgo, 23, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 with family by his side at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor following a lifelong battle with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. Bobby was born in Brockton, MA on May 19, 1998.
Bobby was home schooled, earning his high school diploma. He was a talented artist, selling his paintings from his home and online. He also composed his own music and played the piano. Bobby’s greatest joy was serving the Lord. He started Sitting With Hope, allowing him to encourage others who were going through a difficult time in their lives. He even started a YouTube channel called Sitting With Hope. Bobby was a faithful member of Grace Chapel in Pembroke.
Fully understanding his disability, Bobby was comfortable knowing that one day he would be able to stand up from his wheelchair and kneel before his Lord. He is now able to do that with 5 of his heavenly siblings.
Surviving are his parents, Michael Keyes and Neysha Stevens-Keyes; 12 siblings, Devonte Stevens and wife Kalyn of Harrington, and Cheyenne, Savannah, Kaily, Joshua, Hadassah, Isaac, Gracelynn, Victoria, Yohannah, Eden and Nevaeh Keyes, all of Princeton; maternal grandmother Lisa Rossetti of Princeton; paternal grandparents Larry and Patricia Keyes of Wales, MA; and many aunts and uncles.
