Robbinston – Robert Wayne Carlow, 70, passed away with his mother Virginia, and his canine companion Abby on Monday, November 14, 2011 at their home in Robbinston. Bobby was born in Bangor on January 23, 1941, son of Robert and Virginia (Cline) Carlow. As a younger man, he enjoyed spending time at the Robbinston Fire Dept. In later years Bobby enjoyed studying the weather and chopping wood. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Carlow. Surviving are his two sisters, Sandra Draper-Hayward of Calais and Sally Moir of Robbinston. Also surviving are Paul Moir of Robbinston; two nephews, Jeffrey Draper and his wife Deborah of LaVernia, TX, and William Moir and his fiancé Judith Konecki of Freeport; two great nieces, Rebecca and Rachel Draper; a great nephew, Nicholas Draper; one great-great niece, Isley Draper; and numerous cousins and dearly loved friends and neighbors. A graveside service for Bobby and his mother Virginia will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Brewer Cemetery in Robbinston. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
