Robert E. Farnsworth Jr.

Robert Eric Farnsworth Jr., 30, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.  Robert was born in Machias on August 11, 1993, son of Robert Farnsworth Sr. and Paula (Flynn) Moores.

Robert graduated from Calais High School, Class of 2011, and attended Washington County Community College where he studied carpentry and automotive.  He held various jobs over the years, including seaweed harvesting, Irving in Calais, McDonalds, and most recently as a cook for the Baileyville Big Stop.  Robert enjoyed playing video games and was a proud father to Annika. 

Robert was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Burton Flynn; paternal grandmother Lela Farnsworth; and step-grandfather Loren Lank.  Surviving are his daughter, Annika Farnsworth of Jonesboro; his parents, Robert Farnsworth Sr. and wife Michelle of Calais, and Paula Moores and companion Chris Bridges of Lubec; companion Sierra Moore of Calais; maternal grandmother Florence Lank of Lubec; paternal grandfather Bobbie Farnsworth of Machias; his twin sister Kelsey Farnsworth of Calais; three brothers, Deven Flynn and wife Chelsea of Kenduskeag, Eric McCaslin and wife Whitney of FL, and Scott McCaslin of FL; a special aunt, Barbara Rice of Calais; and many aunts and uncles.
