Roberta L. Lingley (Batron)

PEMBROKE – Roberta L. Lingley, 83, passed away June 12, 2014, at Calais Regional Hospital. Roberta was born on May 10, 1931 to Morrill F. and Beulah (Featherson) Batron in Pembroke where she attended school and raised her family. After high school she married Earl Lingley with whom she raised their five children. Roberta was a wonderful mother and wife; she spent her days caring for her children, cooking for them and other kids around the neighborhood and then her grandchildren and great grandchildren as her family grew. Roberta was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Earl Lingley; five children, Deanna Bard and her companion Ernest White of Sidney, Shirley Brown of Dennysville, Jerry Lingley and his wife Julia, Alvery Lingley and his wife Karin and Darrin Lingley and his companion Delilah Holland, all of Pembroke; ten grandchildren, Kimberly Pollard, Michelle York, Randy Brown, Joey Brown, Tonia Richendollar, Tiffany Lingley, Jerry Lingley, Shannon Smith, Nate Lingley and Amanda Bulmer; several great grandchildren and her special caretaker, Rhonda Kilton. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
