Rodney W. Fitch

Rodney William Fitch, 55, passed away in Princeton on Sunday, August 21, 2022 after losing his long battle to drug addiction. Rodney was born March 23, 1967 in Calais, Maine to Rodney Evans Fitch and Mary Elisabeth (Collins) Fitch. In spite of his strengths and weaknesses he was well loved in the community. The family would like to thank Diane and the staff of the Old School Restaurant for helping us look out for him.

Rodney was predeceased by his parents; he is survived by his special friend Nellie Jo Lee of Princeton and his beloved children William and Paige Fitch both of Princeton. Rodney also leaves behind his brother Richard Fitch and wife Heidi Fitch of Calais; sisters Kathrine LaPlant and husband Ronald LaPlant of Princeton, Sandra Campbell and husband Steven Campbell of Baileyville, and Barbra Young and husband Scott Young of Bangor; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nephews.  

A celebration of life for William “Billy” Johnson who passed 8/22/22 will be held on his birthday October 1, at 11am, graveside in Talmadge cemetery, with refreshments and stories of a wonderful life to follow at Waite/Talmadge Ladies Aid Building. All are welcome.
