Topsfield – Roger N. McLellan, 85, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Calais Regional Hospital, with his family by his side. Roger was born in Topsfield on May 25, 1923, son of the late Arthur and Hazel (Noyes) McLellan. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Army. Roger was employed as a truck driver for various companies throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. Surviving are nine children, Roger L. “Roddie” McLellan and his wife Claudia of Merrill, Ronda L. “Ronnie” Daggett and her husband Robert of Falmouth, Connie L. McLellan of Sinclair, Cheryl L. “Sherrie” Strid and her husband Willie of Greenville, Randall L. “Rannie” McLellan and his wife Linda of Prentiss, Kim L. “Kimmie” Khiel of Meddybemps, Jay L. McLellan and his wife Tammy of Topsfield, David McLellan and his wife Suk of Shalimar, FL, and Charles McLellan and his wife Linda of Princeton; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; his sister, Audrey Thornton and her husband Vaughn of Greenville; a special aunt, Ruby Andrews of Harwich, MA; his feline companion, “Put”; and numerous nieces and nephews.
