EASTPORT – Ramona C. (Frankland) Moholland, 82, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2011 at Calais Regional Hospital surrounded by her family as she was welcomed home to be with the Lord. Ramona was born in Calais to Oscar and Maude (Cossaboom) Frankland on October 4, 1928. She married Kenneth Moholland on March 23, 1950 in Eastport where they resided and raised their family. She was very active in her church, as a member of the Charlotte Baptist Church for 31 years and a current member of Perry Bible Fellowship. Ramona enjoyed traveling; she attended several Christian bus tours to Florida with Kenny. In addition to her parents Ramona was predeceased by 2 brothers, Harold and Boyd Frankland, a sister, Marie Arnold and granddaughter, Rachel Moholland. Surviving are, her husband, Kenneth L. Moholland; 2 sons, Kenneth K. Moholland and his wife, Patty of South Carolina and Blair Moholland and his wife Kathy of Robbinston; a sister, Donna Robinson and her husband William of Thomaston; a brother Rev. Herman “Buddy” Frankland and his wife Edna of Holden; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Moholland of Alexandria, VA, Alicia Balch and her husband Matthew of Redding, CA; Dereck Moholland, Mikayla Myers, Cameron Moholland and Priscilla Myers, all of Robbinston; a great granddaughter, Molly Balch and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 5th at Mays Funeral Home-Flagg Chapel, 72 High St., Eastport. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Perry Bible Fellowship, Route 1, Perry with Rev. Buddy Frankland officiating. A committal service will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Eastport.
