BAILEYVILLE – Roscoe Kenneth Seeley, 53, passed away at home on July 31, 2013. Roscoe was born in Calais on June 17, 1960, son of Kenneth and Elinor (Stevens) Seeley. He grew up in Baileyville where he graduated from Woodland High, class of 1978 and then went on to attend the University of Maine at Machias. Roscoe enjoyed the little things in life; he made all situations fun and appreciated the people in his life. Roscoe loved spending time at the Spednic Club where he was a member of the men’s bowling league and had his second family. He enjoyed all sports, particularly golfing and was a member at the St. Croix Country Club in Calais. He worked for many years in Baileyville at the paper mill. Roscoe was predeceased by his mother, Elinor (Stevens) Seeley. He will be always remembered by his father, Kenneth W. Seeley and his companion, Wilma Corning of Baileyville; his three brothers, Ricky Seeley and his wife, Tammi of Baileyville, Ronnie Seeley and his wife, Ruth of Montville, CT and Randy Seeley and his wife, Lori of Princeton; four nieces and nephews, Brittany Seavey and her husband Steve, Tyson Seeley, all of Baileyville, Elizabeth Seeley of Brewer and Zachary Seeley of Princeton; a great niece, Ellah Jane Seavey of Baileyville; Roscoe’s angels, Maureen Hayward, Wanda Cox and Janelle Boomer; all of his golfing and bowling friends, the camp crew and many more special friends. A celebration of Roscoe’s life will be held at the Spednic Club on Friday, August 2nd at 6:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Roscoe’s memory to the Spednic Club, 6 Third Ave., Baileyville, ME 04694. A private committal service will be held at a later date. Services by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
