Ruth Marie Greenlaw

Calais – Ruth Marie Greenlaw, 63, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. Ruth was born in Lubec on November 27, 1949, daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Wilcox) Moores. She enjoyed camping at Hilltop Campground and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son Darren Tinker, and a brother John Moores Sr. Surviving are her husband Melbourn Greenlaw Sr.; two daughters, Barbara Townsend and her companion Joseph Ohmeis of Calais and Sharon Tinker and her companion Steve LaBlanc of Winslow; two sons, Leonard Tinker and his companion Amy Lee of Baileyville, and Steven Tinker and his wife Sandy of Calais; a step-son Melbourn Greenlaw Jr. and his companion Dory Smitter of Machias; two step-daughters Janelle Raul of Pembroke, and Samantha Dudley of Baileyville; one sister, Donna Pottle of Calais; uncle and aunt Robby Moores and Myrtle Moores; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Green Acres Cemetery in Lubec. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
