Sally Gloria Tuttle

Calais – Sally Gloria Tuttle, 84, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Colonial Health Care in Lincoln. Sally was born in Vanceboro on July 29, 1930, daughter of the late Delmar and Sally (Rosen) Pine. She graduated from Calais Memorial High School, Class of 1948. Sally worked as a secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company until marrying George Tuttle. At that point she took a leave from work to raise her children and eventually worked various jobs throughout the community. Sally enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband George Tuttle Sr.; and two sisters, Maxine and Katherine. Surviving are her two sons, George M. Tuttle Jr. of Orono, and Jeffrey S. Tuttle of Calais; a grandson Shawn Tuttle of New Brunswick, Canada; and many cousins.
Burial will take place at a later date in Calais Cemetery next to her husband George. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
