Sharon Campbell (Day), 70, passed away on Thursday April 4th, 2024 at her home with her loving husband and best friend Frank Campbell at her side. Sharon was born February 3rd, 1954, to parents Truman Day and Eva Day (Sawtelle) of Wesley.
Sharon spent her life in Washington County, Maine where she raised three children; Amanda DiCenzo, Rachael Brown (DiCenzo), and Darren DiCenzo, and two stepchildren; Frankie Campbell and Tanya Sawyer-Campbell and one grandson Shaw Mann.
Sharon is survived by her husband Frank Campbell, a sister Sally Warren (Day) along with grandchildren and step grandchildren; Seth Brown, Shaw Mann, Leah Campbell, James Campbell, Wyatt Campbell, Kadence Ward, Samantha Leighton, Dylan Leighton, Johnny Sawyer and Anthony DiCenzo and many nieces, great grandchildren, nephews and friends.
Sharon was a deeply devoted mother, wife and friend. She was also the proud parent of a colony of rescue bunnies that she and Frank adored. Above all else she was a strong woman who faced life with bravery and compassion and was the champion of those that she loved.
Frank and Sharon wish to thank the Wabanaki Warriors Motorcycle Club, her hospice nurse Jamie, and Dr. Russell for all their support during her illness.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date at the Wabanaki Warriors Clubhouse. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
