Sharon Rose Hurley

Baileyville – Sharon (Harriman) Hurley left this world on angels' wings on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She was born October 25, 1943, in St. Stephen, NB, Canada, to Florence and George Harriman.
Sharon had a very generous and caring heart and was always quick to help anyone in need. She was a visible part of the community, spending many years on the planning committee for the Baileyville Labor Day Committee. Often times she was seen walking to the Post Office. Sharon always had a kind word and saw the best in people. She loved everyone but especially children and animals. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and she was a great friend of Bill W.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Florence and George Harriman; brother, Carlton Edward Harriman; and special brother-in-law, Eugene Greenlaw. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Draper and husband Jeff Draper of La Vernia, Texas; grandchildren Rebecca Draper, Rachel Draper, and Nicholas Draper; great- granddaughter Isley Draper; sister, Phyllis Greenlaw of Haines City, Florida; sister Lynn Foss and husband Lee Foss, of Harrison, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service for the family at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
