Shaun Beaudoin

September 25, 1955 — November 11, 2024

Calais, Maine

Shaun Beaudoin, born on September 25, 1955, in Concord, MA, passed away on November 11, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. Shaun was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. As the owner of Beaudoin Plumbing and Heating, he was well-respected for his hard work, integrity, and expertise in his field. Shaun's journey began in Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, where he played Varsity football and graduated in 1974. Following two years of working for his father's plumbing business, Shaun's adventurous spirit led him to join the Army in 1976, where he served as both a Green Beret and later as a Radio Operator for the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. He was justly proud of his military career, earning the rank of SGT, the Expert Badge with his M-16, the Good Conduct Medal, and his Parachute Badge.

Upon leaving active duty in 1980, Shaun joined the Army reserves for two years while returning to Massachusetts to work with his father in their family business. After moving to Maine in 1997, he started Beaudoin Plumbing in Brookton, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering dedication to his craft. However, Shaun's interests extended beyond his work. He was an avid outdoorsman, with a passion for hunting and fishing on Cape Cod, and a love for coaching his daughters' softball teams and boys' soccer at East Grand. Shaun was a devoted family man, always ready to lend a hand or fix something that needed fixing. A gun enthusiast and a jack-of-all-trades, he consistently sought out mental challenges and new opportunities for growth.

Shaun is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Beaudoin, whom he married on July 23, 2001. He also leaves behind his children Adam Beaudoin and wife Ashley, Kaitlyn Beaudoin and husband Paul, Shaunna Beaudoin, PJ Descoteaux and wife Brooke, and his cherished grandchildren Kinsley, Evelyn, Declan, Cameron, Jack, and Beau; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rene Sr and Patricia Beaudoin, and his brothers Paul, Ray, and David Beaudoin.

In keeping with Shaun's wishes there will be no services. Donations in Shaun's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.stjude.org  Arrangements are by Mays Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
