Stephen Robert Neale

July 18, 1947 — December 16, 2021

Baileyville – Stephen Robert Neale, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 16, 2021. Stephen was born in Calais, ME, on July 18, 1947, to Kenneth and Ernestine (Leighton) Neale. Steve worked for UPS for over 20 years as a driver and as a manager. He served six years with the Army National Guard. He served on the Baileyville School Board for a number of years. He worked other jobs and in retirement, owned and operated Stoney Brook Kennels in Baileyville, a venture he truly enjoyed.

Steve had a strong love for God and his family. He was a friendly man with the gift of initiating conversation with others, which often sparked witty jokes. He had a tender and compassionate heart, especially towards those who were hurting. He was always willing to help those in need. He was an animal lover all his life, and it gave him a great deal of joy caring for them.
