Baileyville – Susan Eileen McCray, 74, passed away at her home on June 16, 2020. Susan was born in Milltown on June 12, 1946 to Leo and Marjorie (Bradford) Dickinson. On August 11, 1965 Susan married Merritt L. McCray in Baileyville where they made their home together and raised their three children after spending a few years living in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She was active in The Peoples United Methodist Church and enjoyed doing puzzles.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was predeceased by her brother, Rodney Dickinson.

She is survived by her three children, Merritt L. McCray Jr and his companion, Susan Dussault of NH, Timothy McCray and his companion Kasha Hill and Elizabeth McCray, all of Baileyville; six grandchildren, Ashlie Arsenault and her husband, Ben of GA, Haylie McCray of South Princeton, Marisa McCray of Portland, Emma McCray of Calais and twins, Logan and Jackson McCray of Baileyville; four great grandchildren, Raiden, Camdyn, Evelyn and Leila; her brother, Ken Dickinson and his companion Sandra Jenson of MA; two sisters, Peggy Cook of CA and Lori Garlin and her companion George Falkowski of MA; sister-in-law, Mary Dickinson of MA; friend, Janell Boomer of South Princeton and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes, she will be laid to rest with her husband, Merritt L. McCray Sr at Woodland Cemetery in Baileyville, 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 12th. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home.
