Susan Marie Walsh, 74, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Susan was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on April 2, 1950, daughter of Leonard and Josephine (Machulski) Trull.

Susan's journey began at Lawrence High School, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to learning and growth. Her academic pursuits led her to Salem State College, where she immersed herself in the field of education ultimately earning both her bachelor's and master's degrees. With unwavering dedication, Susan embarked on a teaching career in Haverill, leaving an indelible mark on the young she nurtured until her well-deserved retirement.

In the tranquil embrace of Perry, Maine, Susan and her beloved husband William discovered a haven they called home—a place where their shared dreams took root and flourished. A beacon of faith, Susan found solace and community at St. Joseph Church in Eastport, Maine, where her devotion to her Catholic faith found resonance.

Beyond her vocation, Susan's passions illuminated her days. A skilled crafter, a curious traveler, and an insatiable reader, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether immersed in the creativity of crafting, exploring new destinations near and far, or lost in the pages of a beloved book, Susan's spirit shone bright with curiosity and wonder.

In addition to her parents Leonard and Josephine Trull, Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Walsh Jr.; and two brothers, Robert and wife Jackie, and James Trull. Surviving are her two daughters, Ruth Walsh of Ellsworth, ME, and Jennifer Walsh and fiancé Kevin Bezio of Haverhill, MA; two grandsons, Maverick and Jaxson Wason; two sisters, Jacqueline Trepanier of Haverhill, MA, and Lenore Buehner and husband William of Eastport; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
