Princeton - Terri Lyn McLaughlin, 46, passed away peacefully Monday February 9, 2015 at Calais Regional Hospital; after a courageous battle with cancer. Terri was born August 8, 1968 in Calais, Maine, the daughter of Robert and Dianne (Roberts) McLaughlin.
As a child Terri attended Princeton Elementary school and graduated from Woodland High school class of 1986. In 2003, Terri moved to Florida where she earned her real estate license. Through the years, Terri held several jobs but always went back to her life long love of the food service industry, returned to her passion and began a successful career for herself in catering. . In the spring of 2014 Terri moved back to her hometown of Princeton where she enjoyed the rest of her time with family.
Terri was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Milton and Muriel Roberts as well as paternal grandparents Bill and Ada McLaughlin. Surviving Terri are her children Brian White and wife Crissy of Princeton, Robert Preston of Florida and Ashley Preston of Princeton, Grandson Bryce, Parents Robert and Dianne McLaughlin of Princeton, sister Susan Cilley and husband Moses of Princeton, niece Jan Campbell and husband Nathan of Princeton as well as life long friend Trudy James and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family is planning a service in the spring, but will be gathering at the home of Moses and Susan Cilley on Friday, February 13, 2015 @ 2 pm throughout the evening for anyone who would like to pay their respects to the family.
In lieu of flowers, Terri’s family asks that donations in her memory be made to the Princeton Grange or Princeton Rod and Gun Club. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
