Theresa Lillian Danse (Damon)

Calais & Leesburg – Theresa “Terri” L. Danse (Damon), 63, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL surrounded by her family.

Terri was born on September 26, 1952, daughter to Howard and Evelyn (Cody) Damon. Following her graduation from Calais Memorial High School in 1972, Terri completed nursing school which led to a passionate and successful career in nursing. Through her kindness and compassion for others, Terri had a positive impact on nearly every person that she encountered.

In addition to her parents, Terri was predeceased by her brothers Brian, Jimmy and Chuckie Damon.

Surviving are her beloved husband Brad Danse; children Heidi Ryan-Braughton and husband John Braughton, Dennis Ryan and fiancé Heather McDaniel, and Cody Ryan; step-son Brad Danse Jr. and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren Cadence Braughton, Hunter Ryan, Dylan Plummer, Bailey Danse, Taylor Danse, and Carter Danse; sister Gwen Damon; brother Mark Damon; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17th at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A funeral will begin 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18th at the funeral home with a committal following at Calais Cemetery.
