Pleasant Point – Thomas William Tinker, 45, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, February 7, 2022. Thomas was born in Worcester, MA on July 11, 1976, son of Thomas Tinker and Irene (Patykowski) Lafayette.
Thomas attended school in Blackstone, MA and worked for his brother repairing cars and in a tattoo shop. He eventually moved to Pleasant Point and worked on the ocean with his father. Thomas enjoyed playing computer games and had a natural talent with drawing and painting.
Thomas was predeceased by his father and step-mother, Thomas and Patricia Tinker; and a brother Teegan Lafayette. Surviving are his wife Heather Tinker of Pleasant Point; his mother and step-father Irene and David Lafayette of Blackstone, MA; two children, Tyler of New York, and Alexis and fiancé Austin of CT; three grandchildren, Dante, Dilan and Eko Tinker; a brother Jeremy Tinker of MA; and many half siblings.
Visitation will begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 28 Back Rd., Pleasant Point, until 10 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022. A private burial will take place at the Pleasant Point Tribal Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
