Violet Rose Malloch (Baxter)

Calais – Violet Rose Malloch, 91, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2015 in Eastport. Violet was born to Jarad and Hazel (Omar) Baxter on October 8, 1924 in St. Stephen, NB. She married Bob Malloch on November 5, 1952. In addition to raising her nine children, Violet loved to do crafts. She spent many hours crocheting, embroidering and doing crossword puzzles; she was a talented and kind woman. In addition to her parents, Violet was predeceased by her daughter, Mariea Prosser; grandson, Barry Malloch Jr., daughter-in-law, Kimmy Malloch and many sisters and brothers. She will be remembered by her husband of 63 years, Bob; eight children, Bob Malloch of Brunswick, Catrena Bishop and her husband Dan of Charleston, Michael Malloch of Calais and his companion Charlene Somers of St. Stephen, Barry Malloch and his wife Debra of Alexander, Randall Malloch, Della Loner, both of FL, Victor Malloch and his companion Kathy McLaughlin of Baring and Sheila Peakall of Bangor; her brother, David Baxter of St. Stephen; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Violet’s wishes there will be no service.
