Virginia L Dennison

Eastport – Virginia Libby (Gatcomb) Dennison, 71, passed away at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home on March 29, 2007, after being a resident there for twenty four years. She was born in East Machias on April 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Carroll and Alice (Libby) Gatcomb. Virginia is survived by her husband, Charles of Jacksonville; three daughters, Rebecca Look of Whiting, Linda McLean of Lubec, and Kim of Mass; two sons, Charles of Cutler and John of Buxton; several grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Curtis of Calais and Pauline Tyson of East Machias; and a sister-in-law, Joan Gatcomb of East Machias. Her extended family was the entire staff at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home, past and present, who showed her more love and caring than anyone could ever imagine. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Carroll Gatcomb Jr., and a special granddaughter, Elizabeth Look. There will be no visiting hours. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home – Flagg Chapel, Eastport.
