Obituary for Warren Bond Ayer

Calais – Warren Bond Ayer, 82, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Calais Regional Hospital. Bond was born in Milltown, N.B. Canada on February 26, 1927, son of the late Glendon and Olive Ayer. He was retired from NL Industries where he was employed as the head of shipping and receiving. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army Military Police. Bond raised canaries for sale and as a hobby for many years. Surviving are his cousin, Shirley and Frank Nelson of Rochester, NH; a niece, Capt. David and Patty Palmer of Jacksonville, FL; cousin Marilyn Christie and her family of Rochester, NH; close friends Dick and Jane Cormack and their daughter of New Jersey, and very special friends Floyd Sanders of Calais and Brenda Donaghy of Calais. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
