Calais – William C. Mylen, 92, died peacefully at home on June 5, 2021. William was born in Calais on August 9, 1928, to Heman and Estella (Curran) Mylen. After serving in the United States Army, Bill married Donalda Jeans. He later worked at Georgia Pacific for many years. Bill was also a member of the American Legion, Post #3, Calais.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberley Leavitt and her husband, Timothy; grandson-in-law, William “Billy” Townsend; great grandson, David Jacques; four sisters and two brothers.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Donna Mylen; two daughters, Pamela Landry, and her husband Ernest of Baileyville and Lisa Northup and her partner Raymond Gerrish of Guilford; four granddaughters, Alicia Townsend of Calais, Michelle Mylen of St. Stephen, Kristen Durgin of Guilford, and Casey Northup and her fiancé, Cheyene Cashman, of Hermon; great grandchildren, Victoria and William of Calais, Emma, Kori, and Jace of St. Stephen and Ellianna and Wyatt of Guilford; his great-great granddaughter, Addison Townsend; his sister, Wanita Devers of FL and his canine companion Kennedy.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no service. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
